To reduce the likelihood of CudoMiner being flagged as a false positive by antivirus applications all miner executables are downloaded on first open.
If you still get a warning message from Windows Defender or other AV software or see an error in Cudo Console saying ‘Miner executable was not found’, please whitelist the following directory:
Windows: C:\ProgramData\CudoMiner\registry
Linux: /var/lib/cudo-miner/registry
macOS: /var/lib/cudo-miner/registry
For users with Windows Defender, the User Access Control (UAC) box will pop up with a message saying ‘Do you want to allow the following program to make changes to your computer.’ When prompted with this message, please press yes. This will allow CudoMiner to run.
